Knitted Scarf and Hat

I told my friend in West Virginia that I will give her a gift for her coming birthday this May. I want to make a Knitted scarf and hat. She requested a green color.  I agreed with her and I will be looking for some yarns online so I can order it.  Right now, I', still working on my knitted gray scarf and will be doing the hat later when I get other stuff to used for my knitting.  It's fun and exciting making this stuff.  It's my new hobby and hope that I could be able to learn more of the different kinds of stitch and patterns.

Learning how to Knit

I'm learning how to knit. Just  the basic pattern for now.  I learned how to knit the knit stitch and I'm making scarf with a gray color.  It's a little bit difficult compared to crocheting because your holding two needles to make the knit and in crocheting, you only need  one needle to work on.    I think they come out better than crocheting. 

After I read the book that I bought last year, it makes me inspired encouraged me to make those beautiful scarves, hats and shawls.  I'm interested to make it.  But I know it will takes me a little time to learn and figure it out how to make it.  I have to practice and learn the many kinds of stitches before I start something for a procject.  

This is my new hobby.  It's fun and i'm enjoying it. 

Bunch of Yarns

I bought a bunch of yarns today.  I got different kinds of colors and types of yarns.  I cannot get enought yarns to choose.  There are a lot to choose.  It was a little bit expensive but okey.  We do not have other stores to go here.  So I just get it and will enjoying the crocheting again.  I also decided to get some knitting  and more crocheting needles that I might need.  I hope I can learn more patterns for hats, scarves and shawls.

Crocheting is a good hobby

I have found a new good hobby to do.  Crocheting.  I thought I don't like doing it before and   never had the interest either.  I would see yarn in the  store but never mind them.  Until one day our good friend taught me how to do it and  I get hook on it now.  It interesting and challenging making hats and  scarves.  I want to make more of that.  It really look pretty and cute.  I'm proud of myself that I can do it.  I make 6 hats ( 4 for adult and 2 for baby) and a scarf.  I would like to make shawl.  I still have to study and learn how to make it.  I'm still a beginner and alot to learn about crocheting.  This is really fun for me.  I love it.

Crocheting Scarf

I've done  crocheting scarf.  It's a light pink yarn I used and it look good in me.  I'm excited to used it and I cannot wait to buy more yarn in the store.   I'm thinking of buying darker color for my hat and more scarfs. 

This is my new hobby and I'm learning more and more as I keep on trying the different patterns.  I'll concentrate in making hats and scarfs although I wanted to learn and try other stuff.  But for now I'll just do hats and scarf for now. I'm enjoying it. Give it a try!!

To Everyone around the World

The year is just about to end and I am sending New year and Christmas greetings to all of you. This is a celebrating season and the Lord has been so good to us through out the year. I guess he has been good to you too. We want you and your family to join me in thanking God for his wonderful blessings upon us as both as an individual and as a family. So Christmas is not only a time of celebrating but also the time of reflection in our life.

Christmas Shopping

This season is a time of shopping.  Even if it's hard time for money, people still find the ways to go for a shopping and buy for themselves.  Shopping malls we went had a lot of people.  There were so much activities going on.  They have promotions or sales in stores. They have this Santa Claus that you can take pictures  with and  the wonderful christmas decoration. Christmas is fast appproaching and people want to buy something for themselves or for there love ones.    Most people have there parties to attend and the traditional gift giving to families and friends.  It's just wonderful time of the year.
